Police are searching for the man who brutally attacked a pregnant woman in the Bronx. Video shows the man hitting the 26-year-old pregnant woman in the head with a wrench multiple times.
BRONX -- Police are searching for the man who brutally attacked a pregnant woman in the Bronx in what she says was a road rage incident.The victim says she was on her way to therapy at the time due to a bad car accident a year ago.
She said while driving she wouldn't let this guy enter her lane, and he started following her and becoming aggressive. She says she didn't know what the problem was and she got out of her car. That's when the victim says the man began attacking her with a screwdriver, jabbing her five times in the head and then going for the neck.
The woman says while at the hospital, that's when she learned she was three months pregnant. About a week after the attack she miscarried. The victim says she doesn't know if it was because of the attack, but says she obviously sustained injuries and stress.Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA .
