A pregnant woman has sparked a feud after refusing to change the baby name her older sister had coveted secretly for years. The mum-to-be has explained the unusual situation, seeking advice on the issue. The 23-year-old says she is pregnant with her first child and that she and her boyfriend, also 23, have decided to name their baby daughter “Wren”. “We didn’t tell many people yet. My boyfriend told his parents and I told my parents and my siblings,” she said in a Reddit post.

“My daughter feels like Wren to both me and my boyfriend. We’ve already got some items with her name on them,” she said. “I know, to many, it’s not a big deal for people to share the same name in a family, but our family doesn’t really like doing that. “So, I know to it means Wren has to leave their list, if I use it.” The woman told her older sister that she couldn’t change her daughter’s name after they had already committed to it, and the name “felt so right” to the couple.
