The baby was born prematurely between 28 weeks and 30 weeks, police said.
Mansfield resident Jose Pagan said state troopers asked to check his cameras, which pointed toward the area where the infant was found.
“The police told me 4:30 p.m., but I looked on my cameras and don’t see anything at this time,” Pagan told. “Last night I can’t sleep. Thinking about the baby. Watching the window, thinking somebody is right there.” Troopers are asking that anyone with information about the man’s identity or where he can be located to call Trooper Matt Hogan at 860-896-3236.
