The Enterprise volleyball team defeated Houston Academy, but lost to Florida State High of Tallahassee during a tri-match Saturday at the EHS gym.
The Wildcats beat Houston Academy 25-7, 22-25, 25-18, 25-13 and fell to FSU High 25-23, 25-18, 25-16.
On the day, Mary Suzan Aman earned 20 kills and two blocks and Mille Gay had 12 kills and three blocks. Whiddon Armstrong added five kills and Emma King Armstrong three kills, while Molly Rutland had 36 assists and Mallory Magrino had 23 digs and two assists. Kaleigh Heard chipped in seven digs and Emily Adams five digs.
Northside Methodist reaches semifinals: Northside Methodist went 2-2 and reached the semifinals of the Providence Christian Junior High Tournament Saturday.
