Staff Reports Rehobeth won a pair of pool matches at the Fall Festival Tournament Monday at The Link Academy near Wicksburg.
Leading Rehobeth in its win over Northside Methodist were Kryslin Martin and Helen Williamson. Martin earned 10 kills, five blocks and 10 digs, while Williamson amassed seven kills, three aces and 10 digs. Versus Cottonwood, Williamson had four aces, four kills and nine digs and Martin five kills and five digs, while Trotter delivered two aces, eight assists and four digs and Arnold provided two aces and six assists. Merrill and Paulk both had three kills and Freeman two kills, while Davis had six digs, Libby-Lu McCarthy five digs and Buker four digs.
In other tournament results, Charles Henderson defeated Carroll 26-24, 23-25, 16-14, Headland beat Slocomb 25-17, 25-21 and Northside Methodist defeated Cottonwood 25-18, 25-20.In the championship Gold Bracket, Ashford faces Northside Methodist at 4 p.m. with the winner playing Houston Academy in the semifinals at 5:15 p.m. The other semifinal pits Rehobeth against Headland at 5:15 p.m. The two semifinal winners meet in the championship at 6:30 p.m.
