2GB host Ben Fordham received an anonymous tip-off that the animal had been tortured and killed by a group of students from The King's School at an end-of-term camp.Class action launched against Optus over 2022 data breach"There was an incident which occurred at The King's School annual cadet camp towards the end of last term," the statement read.The school said staff had reported the matter to police and to Defence.
Police said an investigation was underway into the alleged unlawful killing on March 29 at Singleton in the Hunter region. "Officers from The Hills Police Area Command have commenced an investigation following the unlawful killing of a goanna at Singleton," a statement said.
