The senator said her father, David Price, had an egg thrown at him during a TV interview while her parents’ Alice Springs home had paint thrown at it.

Senator Jacinta Nampijinpa Price has claimed her parents and their Northern Territory home were attacked as a result of her high-profile advocacy against the Voice to parliament.

“So, you know, they’re a target now. There’s some pretty nasty individuals in Alice Springs who obviously don’t like the outcome, so I guess my concern now … is their safety. They shouldn’t have to put up with that kind of nonsense.”“They threw paint in glass bottles as well,” he said, “one of which smashed on the gravel in our driveway. The other didn’t smash, and the police took it as evidence.”

When asked by 2GB radio host Ben Fordham whether she could one day become prime minister, which would require her moving to the lower house, she did not rule it out.Loading
