There’s nothing worse than your period arriving just as you’re planning a trip to the beach, but Primark’s new period-proof swimwear has been called ‘game changing’ by shoppers
With the warmer weather on its way, all thoughts are turning to how you can make the most of the sunny weather. Whether it's a trip to the beach, a swim at your local pool or even a much-anticipated holiday somewhere super hot, we’re all ready to don our swimsuits and enjoy the warmer climates.
Period swimwear has been growing in popularity over recent years, and Primark shoppers can choose from the black Period One-Piece Swimsuit, £16 here, or the black Period Bikini Briefs, £6 here, which can be mixed and matched with your existing bikini tops to make sure you’re still covered even when your period hits.
Some, however, debated whether they were practical enough to actually use in water. One wrote: “I hope to God no one is wearing these while swimming in a pool. The blood will literally wash out into the water. These are for dry wear only i.e. sunbathing.” Despite some shoppers doubts, Primark’s product listing confirms they are, in face, suitable for wearing whilst in the water, saying: “You'll feel cared for and confident while you swim to your heart's content!”
