The Prime Minister has told students who skipped class to attend a climate change protest outside his home that 'learning gets done in schools'.

Speaking to reporters on Friday the Prime Minister said the government was taking the challenge of climate “seriously” as he touted the progress Australia has already made.

“If emissions are continuing to rise, be it in China or in Indonesia or Vietnam or South America, all these places, well, the world continues to get hotter,” he said.
