The Prime Minister has used an address to the United Nations to implore the world to share the coronavirus vaccine when it is found. 9News

Mr Morrison said the World Health Organisation must assist in helping distribute the vaccine.

"Australia supports the WHO's efforts to develop a global framework so that vaccines and therapeutics are allocated fairly," he said. "In facing a global health threat, we have all been reminded about the importance of multilateral cooperation."Scott Morrison appears via video link at the UN.Kazakhstan's president, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, warned that the world is "coming close to what some have already called a state of 'global dysfunction'" as a result of the pandemic, and the global system is now "on the verge of dramatic upheavals that may lead to irreversible consequences.
