Prince Albert is the son of the late Grace Kelly, who before becoming a famous actress and princess, grew up in East Falls. While in Philadelphia this week, the prince paid his respects to the lions at the zoo, planted trees in North Philadelphia, and attended a lavish ambassador’s reception at the art museum.
At the Art Museum this week, roughly 150 guests snacked on miniature cheesesteaks and roast pork sandwiches, clapped for the prince, and wandered through Elsewhere in the city, Prince Albert’s foundation has contributed money to Philly Tree Plan, the Philadelphia Zoo, the Philadelphia Environmental Film Festival, and the PEW Foundation.
