Vanity Fair’s Royal Editor Katie Nicholl says Prince Charles entered “dangerous territory” with his comments on the UK government’s Rwanda migrant policy which has put him in “hot water”.
Prince Charles privately labelled the UK government’s plans to deport tens of thousands of illegal migrants to Rwanda as “appalling”. “Is quite a divisive thing to say, we don’t expect that of a member of our royal family, we don’t expect that as a future king for Charles to be political in any way,” Ms Nicholl told Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan.
“We know Charles does have political opinions and … possibly he wanted this out because there hasn’t been a denial.”
