Prince Charles should keep an open mind about UK’s Rwanda deportation plan: Johnson | latikambourke
Boris Johnson has hit back at critics, including Prince Charles, of his Australia-style plan to deport asylum seekers to Rwanda, saying they should keep an open mind.
Britain wants to mimic Australia’s offshoring solution to deal with unwanted asylum seeker who arrive by boat after crossing the English Channel. Both Charles and Johnson have met Kagame in the Rwandan capital. Johnson praised Kagame’s “moral stance” on Ukraine, according to a spokesman.
