Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announce next Netflix docuseries with trailer
on December 31, will feature interviews with climate activist Greta Thunberg, the late attorney and US Supreme Court justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and the prime minister of New Zealand, Jacinda Ardern.
The logline for the project, which has been produced in association with The Nelson Mandela Foundation, reads: “Extraordinary leaders reflect on their legacies and share messages of courage, compassion, humility, hope and generosity. “Inspired by the iconic legacy of Nelson Mandela, Live to Lead highlights the fundamental values, daily disciplines and guiding principles that leaders employ to motivate others and create meaningful change.”Other interviewees include social justice attorney Bryan Stevenson, South African rugby player Siya Kolisi and feminist icon Gloria Steinem, as well as Harry and Meghan.
At the end of the trailer for the docuseries, Harry proclaimed: “This was inspired by Nelson Mandela, who once said ‘What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived.’ It’s about people who have made brave choices,” with Meghan adding: “It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.”
