Analysis by Laura Bundock, royal correspondentThe afternoon was without doubt an easier time in court 15 for him, wrapping up his time in the witness stand with re-examination from his barrister.Addressing the possible conflict between what he said in his witness statement about Paul Burrell, Diana's former butler, and what he wrote in his memoir.
He remained in court to hear Jane Kerr, a former Mirror Group royal correspondent responsible for many of the stories he alleges involved illegal methods. He looked weary discussing his past relationships. He told the court,"It was distressing going through this process and I would say more distressing sitting here having to go through it all again." He looked pained when saying another former girlfriend, Caroline Flack,"was no longer with us".
Harry paused."It's a lot," he said with an uncomfortable smile and a flushed face. His voice broke when he answered the judge's follow-up question. The prince then left the witness box, but not the courtroom, eager to the evidence of the next witness - Jane Kerr, former royal editor at the Mirror. The duke looked pained during discussion of an article about his time with Caroline Flack as he said the presenter is"no longer with us";
