The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be honoured with a prestigious humanitarian award in New York City next week for their work advocating for Afghan refugees who've fled from their country's Taliban rule.
Human First Coalition -a not-for-profit which helps resettle vulnerable Afghans as the nation enters its second year of Taliban rule- is recognising the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for their"generous" donations and support.
The distinguished awards night will feature a traditional Afghan meal, performances and guest speakers -with VIP tickets selling for US$2075 - with the proceeds to assist in further humanitarian aid. The couple visited the Big Apple last month, where Prince Harry gave a politically charged keynote speech at the United Nations for Nelson Mandela International Day.
