Will and Kate share how they discuss the Ukraine crisis with their three children
Their visit was designed to help them discover more about the efforts being made at the centre to support Ukrainians both in the UK and throughout Europe, with the Cambridges speaking to volunteers. The royals also helped with some of the sorting and packaging of donated items.
The royal couple showed their solidarity and support for the people of Ukraine with Prince William reportedly saying,"We are all behind you."During a chat, Will also revealed how he and Kate have been discussing the conflict with their three young children, Prince George, eight, Princess Charlotte, six, and Prince Louis, three.
"Ours [our children] have been coming home and asking all about it, so they're obviously talking about it amongst their friends at school," he said, before saying that he and Kate"choose words carefully to explain to them what's going on". Both William and Kate wore visible signs of their support for Ukraine with badges showcasing the county's flag alongside a heart motif, while the duchess also wore a blueWill and Kate also brought homemade brownies and granola bars from Kensington Palace with them to share with those they met at the centre.
