Royal experts claim that Princess Catherine has stopped trying to mediate between her husband Prince William and his brother-in-law Prince Harry, citing a shift in priorities following her cancer diagnosis.

Catherine's duties also reportedly extended to attempting to clear the air between Meghan, herself, and King Charles after Sussex-ally Omid Scobie alleged Kate and the monarch were the two who raised concerns about the skin colour of the Sussexes' son. Scobie appeared to unintentionally name Kate and Charles as the royals who allegedly made the racist remarks in his 2023 book Endgame.
