The Princess of Wales has shared a new photo as she marks Mother's Day with her children and recovers from surgery.
Kate Middleton has shared a lovely new photo with her children for Mother's Day and has said thank you to everyone for their kind thoughts. The Princess of Wales put up a picture that no one has seen before, showing her with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.Kate sent out a message with the photo, saying thanks to people for all the "kind wishes and continued support over the last two months" and wishing everyone a Happy Mother's Day.
This was a big sign that the future Queen is getting better after her abdominal surgery on January 16. Even though Kensington Palace announced that the future queen would step back from all official duties during a two week hospital stay and a period of rest at home until after Easter, Kate's much-anticipated return was thrown into chaos on Tuesday when the Army announced she would appear at a Trooping the Colour rehearsal in June. Tickets were offered for sale online for what would have been the princess' first officially-announced public engagement since her surgery.
Tomorrow, Kate will miss one of the biggest events in the Royal calendar, the annual Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey - but William will be there.
