In the wake of handing the winner's trophy to Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, the Princess of Wales will now enjoy a “summer break” while continuing preventive chemotherapy treatment for an undisclosed type of cancer, the insider said. The King and Queen are set to return to Balmoral estate in the Scottish Highlands for their annual summer break, with other royal family members expected to"drop in" during their stay throughout the month.
Royal expert Jennie Bond said this year's summer holidays will be an important opportunity for the firm to"take stock" after Charles and Princess Catherine’s dual cancer diagnoses. "If she does go, I'm sure the whole family will want to surround her with love, support and renewed strength."
