Kate Middleton is undergoing chemotherapy after the disease was found in post-operative tests after abdominal surgery in January
The Princess of Wales has been diagnosed with cancer it was revealed this evening. In a statement Kate spoke of her 'huge shock' and how William had been 'a great source of comfort and reassurance'.
However, she underwent post-operative tests and sadly she was found to have cancer. Kate has been undergoing preventative Chemotherapy since late February. "This of course came as a huge shock, and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family.
"Having William by my side is a great source of comfort and reassurance too. As is the love, support and kindness that has been shown by so many of you. It means so much to us both.
