A paedophile suspected of being behind the disappearance of British girl Madeline McCann has confessed to snatching a child from Portugal, a prisoner told a court.
Prisoner claims Madeleine McCann suspect Christian Brueckner said he 'stole' a child in Portugal while looking for 'money and gold'
Brueckner had asked his cellmate if he"too" was in jail for child offences, before admitting to have taken a"child" during a break and enter in Portugal. "And he would have entered this window for money and gold. However, he not find any money, but came across a child and took it with him," he said, as reported in The Sun."He left the area. He then said that there was another person with him who he had argued with and that they had split up. And he said he took the child with him in Portugal and drove away, while the place was full of police and dogs.
The German paedophile appeared panicked, his cellmate said, raising concerns about potentially leaving evidence at a crime scene and also spoke about hair DNA.
