A small group of protesters with banners begun yelling from the public gallery while state politicians sat below during question time.

Pro-Palestine supporters have shut down NSW parliament after storming a proceeding and calling Premier Chris Minns a "disgrace".

A dozen or so protesters with banners began yelling from the public gallery while MPs sat below during question time about 12.30pm today. They called for a free Palestine and criticised the NSW government's response to Israel's ongoing war in Gaza. MPs were distracted from question time when a dozen or so protesters with banners began yelling. Parliamentary staff and sheriffs rushed to the gallery to eject the group while question time was halted for a few minutes."Chris Minns, you are a disgrace," the lone protester yelled.

Minns said he was hopeful of a good outcome if he sits down and negotiates with the fire brigade unions.
