Bushfire emergency warning issued as blaze threatens lives and homes in Perth's north
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services said a wind change later this afternoon could turn the fire away from homes and back towards the national park.Meanwhile, an emergency warning has been issued for a fire burning near the town of Toodyay, about 80 kilometres north-east of Perth.
The alert is for people in the Toodyay Holiday Park and Chalets and travelling on Racecourse Road in the vicinity of the Toodyay Racecourse.
