The draining of a swimming pool at former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort that led to the flooding of a computer server room last October has reportedly caught the attention of prosecutors working for special counsel Jack Smith.

It’s unclear if prosecutors have established whether the flooding of the server room was intentional or an accident. IT equipment in the flooded server room was reportedly not damaged.The incident occurred about two months after the FBI’s August 2022 raid of Mar-a-Lago during which agents found hundreds of classified documents inside Trump’s private club and residence.
