Protestors have crashed the Prime Minister's news conference as he unveiled plans for a multi-billion dollar fast rail. Scott Morrison has committed $2 billion to building fast rail links between major cities and regional areas, with Melbourne to Geelong top of the list.
The rail projects will help ease pressure on major cities and make regional areas more attractive, he said. Union-aligned protesters appeared at the conference, chanting loudly and calling for the Morrison government to be kicked out of office at the next election. Image: News Corp Australia
