Officers say both collisions are serious, and a number of roads have had to be closed. The Forkhill Road in Newry is currently closed in both directions between the Newry by-pass and the Newtown Road following a serious road traffic collision.
They said: "The Ballynahonemore Road in Armagh is currently closed in both directions following a serious road traffic collision.
