Officers in Mid Ulster are investigating a recent incident in which a child was injured after using a Boom Bag toy incorrectly.
The toy is often used as a prank as it creates a "giant bang" when used correctly.
Police Mid Ulster have advised that the product is not suitable for children unless supervised by an adult, and that it should never be used by children under three. In a post on social media, the PSNI warned: "Magherafelt NPT are investigating a recent incident in which a child was unfortunately injured when a Boom bag was used incorrectly.
