A business owner has blasted Today show host Karl Stefanovic for dissuading Australians from dining at their local pubs after his “sad” chicken schnitzel rant.

Earlier this week, Stefanovic slammed inner-west Sydney restaurant Skinny Tony's at Five Dock Bowls Club for charging $28.90 for a chicken schnitzel and a side of vegetables.
