Teachers in New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory are going to strike on June 30.
Both public and Catholic school teachers will walk off the job – coming together for the first time to take industrial action.
Mark Northam, Secretary of the NSW/ACT branch of the Independent Education Union of Australia spoke to Sky News Australia about the issue. “I think the situation in New South Wales and ACT at the systemic schools is so serious that it brought the two unions together,” Mr Northam said.
