Public Sector Commissioner David Mackie sent an email to directors-general approving the special entitlement, on top of sick leave. According to the Courier Mail, Mr Mackie believes the move will keep government workplaces psychologically and culturally safe.Only 31 per cent of Queensland voters backed the Voice to Parliament, which would have enshrined an Aboriginal advisory body into the constitution.
