The shocking attempted insurgency in Russia has “weakened” Vladimir Putin, but the man behind armed uprising will likely not last “very long”, a security expert has claimed.
The head of Wagner group withdrew his insurgency on Sunday after closing within 200 kilometres of Moscow armed with thousands of battle-hardened soldiers and tanks.

The Wagner militia were pivotal in capturing the city of Bakhmut, but Russian forces on a whole have suffered embarrassing losses in the almost 18-month-long conflict.
