Embattled airline Qantas says it’s lifting its game in September as instances of delayed or cancelled flights and lost bags declined.
National carrier Qantas says flight delays, cancellations and mishandled bag rates have fallen in the first weeks of September as it touted an improved operational performance.
The airline cited several reasons for the improved performance. An additional 1500 staff had been hired in cabin crew, customer service and engineering while baggage handling suppliers had boosted their workforce by 25 per cent.
