Shocking images reveal a Queensland family was lucky to avoid serious injury, after a crane collapsed on their home from the back of a construction truck.
About 10am on Friday, emergency services arrived at a home at Deebing Heights in Ipswich after a"construction apparatus on the back of truck" fell onto the property.
Images captured by Queensland Ambulance Service show the bright orange crane lying on its side, sliced through part of the left hand side of the house. No one was injured after a crane fell onto a house in Ipswich, Queensland. Picture: Twitter @QldAmbulance A QAS spokeswoman told SkyNews.com.au there were two people inside the house at the time of the incident. "No serious injuries reported after a construction apparatus on the back of a truck has fallen onto a residence around 10am," QAS wrote on Twitter on Friday, accompanied by two photos.
"Update - Paramedics have cleared the scene with thankfully no patients requiring QAS services following an incident in #DeebingHeights."
