The two best senior quarterbacks in San Diego — Jax Leatherwood and Bito Bass-Sulpizio — won’t finish the season.

“Injuries are part of the game, though. He’s not sulking. He’s out at practice helping coach up the quarterbacks. He’s still contributing.Bass-Sulpizio has college options with visits to Cornell and Stanford. Most recently, San Diego State has shown interest. In five games before he was hurt in a game against San Diego, Stump had completed 122 of 170 pass attempts for 1,447 yards with 16 TDs and six interceptions.
