The new Queen Consort has appeared in a special episode of Antiques Roadshow shot just before Queen Elizabeth II’s death in September.

The program is one of the United Kingdom’s longest running TV shows and first began airing in 1979 on the BBC.

In 2014, Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh also appeared on the program and had a few items from the royal collection looked at to learn more about their history. "She put everyone at ease and was keen to take part in the programme and chat to everyone," Ms Bruce told the BBC ahead of the episode going to air over the weekend.

Her first item was a rare Cornish-made silver snuffbox from the Royal Collection, which delighted the program’s silver expert Duncan Campbell who dubbed the object “an absolute treasure”.
