Queen Elizabeth's London coffin procession for lying in state - start time, route, viewing areas and how to watch

The late Queen's coffin will be moved from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Palace for the lying in state.

What time does it start? The procession will begin from Buckingham Palace at 2:22pm on Wednesday 14 September. Viewing areas along the route will open at 11am. However, the government have asked people not to camp in advance, and any who do may be asked to move. If the viewing area you intend to visit is full when you arrive, you will be directed to the screening site in Hyde Park where the ceremonial procession will be shown on large screens.

All the viewing areas are on one level, and people using these areas can be accompanied by one carer. Accessible viewing spaces are limited, and people will be admitted in order of arrival time.
