Thousands of people are already lining the route that the procession will take when leaving Westminster Abbey following the Queen's funeral later on today - latest
Police officers have formed a ring of security around the Royal Hospital Chelsea, which is where foreign heads of state are gathering to be transported in buses to Westminster Abbey. The area has been cut off to the public by uniformed officers and security barriers as dignitaries arrive.
Photographers, television cameras and journalists have gathered on the edge of the security ring hoping to catch sight of the bus convoy.Since Thursday, hundreds of thousands of members of the public have filed past the Queen's coffin. Early this morning, the final people who had queued through the night left the cavernous medieval hall.
