The 15ft-high playhouse was gifted to the late queen for her sixth birthday by the people of Wales
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who have also recently shared unseen family pics from Frogmore Cottage including Lilibet's birthday, have offered a glimpse into the royal estate in their Netflix documentary, as the couple are seen sipping tea in the late monarch’s private ‘Welsh Cottage’ in the grounds of Windsor.
With the toy passed down through generations, Princess Beatrice spoke about growing up playing in it to Andrew Marr on the documentary The Diamond Queen. She said: "Granny and her sister played here growing up and we've been lucky enough to play here and cousins and second cousins and it's a big family treat. It's the most glamorous Wendy House ever but it's really beautiful and what you're seeing now is after a year's renovation process.
One said: ‘It just seems like they were gathering as much material as quickly as they could before they were shut down by the Palace.’
