Schoolgirl launches action over ‘sexist’ uniforms policy. The tribunal heard the girl and school, both of which cannot be named for legal reasons, were at odds over the policy requiring female students to wear skirts and male students to wear pants or shorts at “formal school occasions” including “school outings or excursions, school ceremonies and events, class photographs, awards nights and external events”.
