BREAKING: Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has announced the state will close its borders to Victorians from tomorrow. 9News
"Given the developing situation in Victoria, Queensland is hardening its border," Ms Palaszczuk said.
The new rules will come into effect from noon tomorrow and mean visitors from Victoria will no longer be able to enter Queensland or quarantine there.Any Queensland residents returning from Victoria will have to quarantine in a hotel for 14 days at their own expense.Yesterday, 134 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Victoria, following 191 on Tuesday.
