UPDATE: One of Brisbane’s biggest hospitals has vowed to change how it discharges mentally ill people after a disturbing video surfaced of a man being frogmarched out of the front door and on to a busy road.
The man was discharged on Sunday from the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital wearing just a hospital-issued gown.

When deemed clinically safe, patients may be discharged into the care of their GP, referred to other community-based services, or discharged home,” the MNHHS representative said.
