Police allege a man, 22, was driving in Rosevale around 6am on Boxing Day when he pulled over to the side of the road and exited his car. A 53-year-old man who was driving behind him also pulled up and allegedly shot a firearm striking the man's vehicle.The younger man fled the scene in his ute and asked for help at a nearby service station in Aratula.Specialist police and POLAIR searched the area shortly after and a Mount Chalmers man was arrested in bushland just after midday.
