The Queensland Maroons have come from behind to win a thrilling State of Origin opener in Adelaide.
The match ended 26-18 in favour of the Queenslanders handing the team a chance to seal the series when they return to Brisbane for game two.
A double to Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow and Selwyn Cobbo on top of some resilient Queensland defence proved the difference as the Maroons were riddled with setbacks. The Queenslanders entered halftime 10-6 leaders but on the back foot after spending a large part of the first 40 on the back foot defending in their own half.
