Queensland has reintroduced tough border restrictions with parts of northern New South Wales after the Byron and Tweed local government areas were plunged into lockdown.
"Those entering Queensland from a non-restricted LGA, who must transit through a restricted LGA, can do so if they transit, without stopping, using private transport for no more than two hours."
Byron and Tweed were only included back in Queensland's border bubble along with 10 other NSW local government areas on September 13.
