Queensland passes law to allow changes to gender identityA Queensland parliamentary committee has backed controversial legislation that will allow people to change their birth certificate in line with their chosen gender identity. The legislation will mean the change of identity will allow the individual the rights of their chosen gender, says University of Queensland Professor Patrick Parkinson. “It allows you to essentially choose any gender identity that you like and then say that's how you were born,” Mr Parkinson told Sky News Australia. “This is a profoundly unscientific sort of law.”

An increase of people being diagnosed with Parkinson’s DiseaseShake It Up CEO Vicki Miller says the cause of Parkinson's disease is 'still unknown'. 'We are finding that more and more people are being diagnosed,' Ms Miller told Sky News Australia.
