Royal Australian Air Force pilots are being told to consider a ‘gender perspective’ during bombing operations.
According to the Daily Telegraph, concerns have been raised about the impact that ruining infrastructure has on locals, especially women.
One example included in the ‘Gender in Air Operations’ guide highlights how destroying a bridge, being used by enemy forces, could force local women to walk further to perform chores.
