Betty was emotional as she detailed her health battle
Race Across the World viewers were in tears last night after a contestant opened up on her health condition.
She told her brother James: "My frustrations and down moments come periodically, I want to be resilient and brave and whatever, but my condition I do believe has made me have this mindset of being negative and not really liking the person I am."READ NEXT: George at Asda's £14 'lightweight' jacket for 'warm days with showers'
Betty was supported by her brother James, who later broke down in tears and asked to be hugged by the camera operator. He said: "To hear that was tough. It was the first time we’ve talked about it, and I have heard it from Betty herself and it’s only now that I realise how much it does affect her." The NHS provides further details on MRKH as it said: "Some females are born with an underdeveloped womb or without a womb, cervix and upper vagina. The ovaries and external genitalia look the same as most girls and women and they develop breasts and pubic hair as they get older.
