Teachers tweeted about the day, but it drew vile comments calling the class an ‘interesting demographic’, while another said: ‘Why was she in Pakistan?’ In a statement posted, St Albert’s Primary said: ‘After an exciting day celebrating our success with our First Minister we have been subject to the most horrific racist abuse.Ms Sturgeon retweeted the statement, adding: ‘Every brilliant young person and every member of staff @stalbertsg41 is worth a million and more of the vile racists who hurl abuse at them.
