Radio veteran Wendy Harmer has released a new memoir, Lies My Mirror Told Me, in which she shared some raunchy anecdotes about her time at 2Day FM back in the ‘90s.

Hailed as “a frank, funny, fearless memoir”, the book was released today and in its pages Harmer details what it was like hosting Australia’s biggest breakfast radio show for 11 years alongside comedian Jamie Dunn, 73.

Harmer, 68, claimed that one ongoing prank of Dunn’s was to expose his genitals to her while they were broadcasting live on-air.The seasoned broadcaster said she saw Dunn’s penis “more times” than she “cared to remember”.The duo’s former co-host, Paul Holmes, also shared his experience in the memoir, saying he never understood the reasoning behind the bizarre prank.

“He’d drop his dacks, exposing his penis, raise his hands in the air and strike a pose,” Holmes claimed.Like Harmer, Dunn has been a big part of the entertainment world. For more than two decades, he voiced one of Aussie TV’s most successful children’s characters, Agro fromhe had plans for Agro to star in the movie“I had an idea for a movie for Agro,” he told us. “I made arrangements to meet with John Kirby who owned Sea World, Movie World, all that.
